Stacy’s Stands With You
“In honor of Women’s History Month, GS&P and STACY’S Pita Chips teamed up to create a collection of bags inspired by real signs found at women’s rallies. The bags were first distributed to crowds demonstrating on International Women’s Day. Each bag housed a Snapchat snap code that, when scanned, allowed people to call their local representatives directly.
Bags were also available online at stacysstandswithyou.com. For every bag ordered, STACY’S donated $10 to Step Up, which empowers young women from under-resourced communities to attend college. The bags sold out in fewer than five hours, triggering over $80,000 in donations in just one day.
Throughout the month of March, STACY’S also crowdsourced artwork submissions from artists and citizens who wanted to see their designs featured on the bags. Three bags were chosen and added to the collection.”

We are deeply connected to our pets. And that connection is lovingly infused through attention to detail, technique, style, and playfulness in my paintings. It is a one of a kind portrait that will be a treasured conversation piece in your home forever.
*My commission calendar is currently full for 2024. I will update any openings listed in my shop and via Instagram. Thank you for the support!

The Artful Evolution of Hal & Mal's is a collaboration between artist Ginger Williams Cook and author Malcolm White about the people, the place, and the history of Hal & Mal's, an iconic institution in downtown Jackson, Mississippi.
Featuring beautiful watercolor paintings, the book brings together thirty years of family history, live music performances, and cafe society through graphic designs of old photographs, original illustrations, Hal's legendary recipe cards, and the written word. Opening with a foreword by the renowned author and chef Robert St. John and featuring Ginger's bold and vibrant look at a place she grew up patronizing, The Artful Evolution of Hal & Mal's captures the reflective, quirky voice of one half of the dynamic team known to millions as Hal & Mal.
Hal & Mal's was conceived by brothers Hal and Malcolm White. The dream was rooted in a childhood on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, reinforced by years of living and working in New Orleans, and ultimately launched in Jackson in 1985. This gathering place has always been owned and operated by family--now the second and third generations. The multifunctional, southern-soul-soaked rooms are adorned with memorabilia and chock-full of local character; each one also features a stage for live music. The kitchen serves a steady offering of hearty regional staples with a nod toward the Gulf of Mexico.
Hal & Mal's is the most-talked-about upscale honky-tonk in all of Mississippi, where art is made, music plays, and folks gather to share community and celebrate the very best of Mississippi's creative spirit.

A limited number of nutcrackers will drop in the shop
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 15, AT 1:30PM CST
It means the world to me to be part of your holiday traditions, as it is very much my tradition to literally go nuts painting these delightful characters. Thank you for patience this year as I prepared for my solo exhibition in New Orleans at Ferrara Showman Gallery (opening reception on Saturday, January 4, from 5-9pm)
NUTCRACKER LAUNCH MAYHEM EXPLAINED:
My loyal collectors don’t want me sharing this information, but it is my duty to clue-in anyone new that volunteers as tribute, aka shop.
*Each nutcracker is scheduled to list at the set time. This launch will happen at 1:30pm. It can take up to 15-30 seconds into that minute to appear. Those 30 seconds are stressful like I am ground control at NASA.
*I frantically refresh the browser during the launch delay—it can help to do this from a desktop though I know people that zip through checkout on mobile.
*You may have the selection in the cart and jump through the hoops to check out, and poof*, someone swiped it. I am very sorry if this happens, but the shop is like the 1996 Family Comedy “Jingle All the Way”. It is maddening, but it prevents people from putting something in the cart and dilly dallying.
*When I say “the shop”, I mean my website shop page. You have to be on the shop page, not the nutcracker tab, there will be a direct link in profile.
*The day of the launch, I will post a sequence preview, in IG stories.
*Happy shopping and thank you all for being the very best. My nutcracker people mean the world to me. Happy holidays and may the odds be ever in your favor.
